Field Lacrosse

Welcome to Griffins’ Field Lacrosse.

Based on the success of our inaugural program in 2009 we will again offer a late summer/fall field program in 2010. The program will follow the same format as last year on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings with development drills, practice and scrimmages. Games are scheduled with other local associations. The season will run from mid-August to early November, finishing with participation in the Turkey Shoot Tournament in New York state. (www.turkeyshootlacrosse.com) This allows our high school age players to display their lacrosse skills in front of NCAA college coaches. FALL FEILD LACROSSE: REGISTRATION FOR 2010 IS NOW OPEN.

Dates for registration:

Tuesday July 6th Barrett Arena 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Sunday August 29th Gloucester High School Feild 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Registration Levels and Cost:
Peanuts (Grade 2 and under) $85.00 (8 weeks)
Developmental (Grade 3 to Grade 12) $120.00 (8 weeks)
Travelling (Grade 3 to Grade 12) $140.00 (8 to 10 weeks and includes 1 tournament in the USA*)

* personal travel and accommodations excluded

Start and End:
Start Sunday August 29, 2010 12:30 am
End Peanuts and Developmental Sunday October 24, 2010
End Travelling approximately November 12 depending on Tournament dates

Trillium field (behind Armstrong arena)

When:
Wednesdays 6:30 to 8 pm
Sundays 12:30 am to 2:30 pm

Equipment:
same as box lacrosse with the addition of soft cleats (i.e no metal)
